DE CASTRO STREET, Tortola, VI - Once night falls on the short strip on De Castro Street adjacent to Bobby’s Supermarket, in Road Town before you reach Republic Bank, it looks a lot like Christmas.

The yearly Christmas decorations sponsored by businessman Elton S. Leonard the owner of Bobby’s Supermarket is a sight to behold.

The decorations are very creative and festive and they help put residents, pedestrians, and visitors in the mood for Christmas.

Hats off to Mr. Leonard who every year ensures that both sides of the small strip bring out all the Christmas characters, including Frosty the Snowman, the Grinch the stole Christmas, lights on the Christmas trees, and even Santa Clause whose reindeer are about to arrive in the Virgin Islands!
