Is Kareem-Nelson Hull next to go? As LIME shake up continues
Virgin Islands News Online was informed by reliable sources within the telecommunications company that Mr Hull's last day on the job is expected to be at the end of October 2015.
However, when contacted yesterday October 6, 2015, Hull, Marketing Manager and Head of Corporate Communications, said was currently on vacation and not permitted to discuss LIME's business while off the job.
LIME is undergoing a major rebranding as FLOW takes over.
Sources have confirmed that it is Hull’s intention to return to work as he has not been notified regarding any change in his current employment status. According to the source, Hull said he will be back at work next week and looking forward to continuing work as usual with the colleagues he loves, working on his book launch, and opening of his store.
According to the source, LIME’s Marketing Department will undergo some changes and it is up to the persons there to consider whether they want to remain with the company by way of accepting the remodelled role. It is understood too that persons can apply for different roles that will be advertised.
Word reaching our news room recently is that LIME Virgin Islands General Manager Sean L. Auguste is no longer the top man at the telecommunications giant. Mr Auguste’s last day on the job was August 30, 2015 and it remains unclear if he was forced out.
No new manager has been named for LIME Virgin Islands (VI). Mr Auguste spent some 28 years with Cable and Wireless, now LIME. He had been at the helm in the Virgin Islands market for the last five years.
It was also made apparent that as the shakeup continued, LIME’s Head of Business Sales and Services Mr Ken Guiste would have been next to go.
Word reaching our news room is that his last day on the job was September 30, 2015. According this news site’s sources close to the situation, LIME had made his job redundant. In fact, they have made the Head of Sales post redundant throughout the region.
“Cable and Wireless has decided to remove the Head of Sales role from the region and so that has included myself,” Mr Guiste told Virgin Islands News Online when reached on September 19, 2015.
