Introducing Virgin Islands Horticultural Society – A New Green Initiative
Grounded in a mission to promote and celebrate the natural beauty of the Virgin Islands through a variety of initiatives, our organisation is ready to flourish alongside our partners, supporters, and the greater Virgin Islands ecosystem.
Growing Strong Branches
Just as every flourishing plant develops strong branches, Virgin Islands Horticultural Society draws its strength from a team of passionate individuals committed to horticultural education, community activities, and public events while supporting local businesses and encouraging the beautification of homes and public spaces in the Virgin Islands.
Branching Out
To foster innovation and inclusion, our initiatives will branch out to
Encourage Horticultural Knowledge and Practices
Foster Community Engagement in horticulture-focused activities
Support Small and Medium-sized Local Businesses
Promote the Beautification of Public and Private Spaces
Cultivate and Promote Environmental Stewardship
By partnering with other organisations, we aim to form a thriving canopy of collaboration.
Blossoming Together
Every flower is unique, yet together they form breathtaking gardens. We invite the community to join us in cultivating a landscape of shared success. Whether you are a backyard gardener, plant lover, complete novice, industry professional, or partner organization, your support will help us nurture projects that make a lasting impact.
Horticultural Fair
To celebrate our launch, Virgin Islands Horticultural Society will host a Horticultural Fair on May 04, 2025, at the grounds of First Impressions Primary School, featuring demonstrations, plant and garden competitions, plant sales, cultural performances, food, and fun community engagement. This is not just an invitation; it’s a call to grow with us as we plant the seeds for a better Virgin Islands.
