ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Public Relations Officer of the BVI Festival and Fairs Committee (BVIF&FC) Ms Lynette L. Harrigan has just confirmed with this news site that the International Soca Explosion is on tonight August 2, 2014, with the exception of one international artiste, given concerns that it would have been cancelled because of Tropical Storm Bertha.

According to Ms Harrigan they have gotten the necessary clearance to have the show go on tonight. She said that the only artiste that was unable to make it into the Territory as a result of being stranded in St Thomas USVI because of the storm is Carimi.

In addition Ms Harrigan said that they have taken the decision to significantly drop the entrance fee from $25 to $15.

Tonight's line-up is a mixture of local and international artistes including Razor Blades, Poorsa, Chalkdust, Mr. Chukky, Glama Gurl, Tino, B’More, Sistah Joyce, VIBE and Skinny Fabulous.
