VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- After beating Tortola’s Skillful Ballers Sr 90-81 on Friday night, November 22, 2024, to go 2-1 up in the Best of 5 Series of the 2024 VG Summer Jam League Championships, Virgin Gorda’s Ice Connection demolished their opponents in Game 4 to claim their first title just before midnight on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Ice Connection amassed a whopping 116 points and restricted Skillful Ballers Sr to just 87 points at Jeffrey Caines Area.
Zion Jones of Ice Connection was named MVP.

“I am so excited, we finally did it. 2024 champions Ice Connection,” owner of Ice Connection William A. Penn aka ‘Ice Willy’ commented ecstatically.
“I am a winner,” Ice Connection's coach Steve E. Parillion remarked.
Ice Connection’s title hopes were boosted this year, with the inclusion of several players from St Thomas and St Croix.
They signalled their intentions of going all the way when they eliminated defending champions Set It Off in the playoffs.
