Rosan’s comments came while sitting in as a guest on the February 28, 2022, edition of the 'Da Morning Braff' radio show on Tola Radio 100.5 FM alongside host Floyd Burnett aka 'Heritage'
“Let’s get to the crux of the matter, some green cloth has been wrapped around poles in the BVI and we have no idea how they got there,” Rosan said.
“Whoever has put it up needs to let us know because, if not, I feel weird about it,” she added.
Rosan recalled controversy surrounding artwork that was erected across the territory some years ago where persons felt that the artwork was connected to witchcraft or even obeah.
To date, the creator of the artwork has neither come forward to claim the work nor the purpose of the project.

“So I’m feeling the same way, and lord I feel like gathering some people to take down those green flags unless somebody wants to tell us that they put them there,” she added.
Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) has reached out to the Town and Country Planning Department in the VI regarding whether applications were filed for persons to erect flags on utility poles, and was told that the department received no such applications and are not aware of the purpose of the flags.
VINO understands that flags have been erected on the main islands as well as on the sister islands in places like Anegada.
Staff at the Town and Country Planning Department further related to VINO that to erect signs, billboards or flags, persons would have submit a development application form or write a letter asking permission for the location of the flags or billboard as well as state its purpose.

We are ready! It’s defacing the territory and sneaky at that!!
To me both the art work & these green flag are weird. Its a step up from graffiti. Plus those artworks were a distraction to drivers especially the cat in the hills if I remember correctly, which is exactly why they should get permission to put them up.
And it seems it's every other pole or tree

You partaking in witchcraft is no different than the green cloths being used for witchcraft.
