LONDON, United Kingdom- The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association United Kingdom (CPA UK) recently hosted its 73rd Westminster Seminar under the theme "Effective Parliaments," which took place from March 10 to March 14, 2025.

The Virgin Islands (VI) delegation consisted of Junior Minister for Culture and Tourism Honourable Luce D. Hodge-Smith (R4)and Opposition Member Honourable Melvin M. Turnbull (R2).

According to a press release from the House of Assembly on March 15, 2025, the event provided a valuable platform for parliamentarians and clerks from across the Commonwealth to exchange ideas, share experiences, and address the unique challenges encountered in their parliamentary work.
As CPA UK’s largest annual event, the Westminster Seminar draws approximately 70 delegates from across the Commonwealth, UK Overseas Territories, and Crown Dependencies.

By facilitating seminars like this, it continues to advance its vision of promoting inclusive, transparent, and accountable parliamentary practices across its member regions.
