NORTH SOUND, Virgin Gorda, VI- The annual Holiday Lighted Boat Parade will take place on Virgin Gorda on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024.

The Bitter End Yacht Club announced the twentieth edition of the Lighted Boat Parade stating, “It’s time to deck the decks with boughs of holly, hang stockings on the cabin-top with care, run lights up the rigging & dress in your holiday best!”

Decorated vessels & Santa

Boats participating in the Christmas Eve Boat Parade will be decorated and lit, and Santa along with his elves will lead the parade aboard the Blue Tang.

The parade kicks off at 5:45 PM at the head of the Bitter End Channel making its way around the North Sound by boat bringing “holiday magic to the water”.

Anyone and their decorated vessel (sail, power, charter and private boats) are welcomed to join the parade, and anchored yachts are also welcomed to decorate their vessels.

Prizes will be awarded ashore for well-lit and creatively decorated boats. Festivities will continue at the Bitter End Yacht Club after the parade.
