HoA to continue today October 25, 2022; questions to be answered

DUFFS BOTTOM, Tortola, VI - The continuation of the 7th Sitting of the 4th Session of the 4th House of Assembly (HoA) is scheduled for today, Tuesday October 25, 2022, at 11:30 am at the Save the Seed Energy Centre, Duff's Bottom, Tortola.

Members are expected to start the Sitting in an informal meeting, after which the HoA will continue in committee over the Jury Act.  It is our understanding the Liquor Licensing Act 2022 has been removed from the Order Paper to allow for more consultations and amendments.

Questions to the Premier

Meanwhile, It is expected that the questions posed by Opposition Member Hon Carvin Malone (AL) will be answered today. 

The Opposition Member is to pepper the Premier and Leader of Government Business Dr the Hon Natalio  D. Wheatley (R7) with a series of questions ranging from the situation at Ellis Thomas Downs to the C. Geoffrey Cox Report on the Commission of Inquiry.

In addition, it is our understanding that one or two Ministers may give Statements today.  It is unclear if the 7th Sitting will end today or will be wrapped up another day.

    in office from 2019 and did nothing but flap his gums about the dump at pockwork pond a matters that continues to be a hazard to our people's help

    It never cease to amaze me-while in positions of power they do nothing but once sitting across the isle they know how to run our country
