ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that the owners and friends of a dog name ‘Dexter’ are frantically searching for the missing pet.

Persons familiar with the situation told our newsroom that the dog, a Miniature Schnauzer who goes by the name Dexter was missing around Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

A poster on the missing pet also indicated that the dog is reportedly hearing impaired and advanced in age.

Persons with information on the missing pet can contact 284-441-2340 or 284-441-8777 with details.

    People claim to love their animals like children. If that was the case, they would be arrested for the negligence of a child. This proves they do not watch their pets any better than they watch their children. I have seen people at the supermarket, beaches, functions with crowds, calling for their children. REALLY? I hope you find your family member safe and sound, no thanks to you.
