Harneys awarded contract to provide legal services for RDA

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The international offshore law firm, Harneys, has been awarded a contract to provide legal services for the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) on an “as required basis” for a period of two years.

Partner for Harneys, Johann Henry, signed the contract with RDA’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Paul Bayly on July 5, 2019.

“With the capacity to deliver across the entire spectrum of corporate services, and a reputation for strong advocacy, Harney, Westwood and Riegels LP (Harneys) has been awarded the contract to provide legal services to the Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency,” the RDA posted on its Facebook page today, July 5, 2019.

It said Harneys will now be required to serve as the legal representative and provide in-depth legal guidance on matters that will affect the RDA and help ensure its contracting is legally and commercially robust to ensure value for money.

Harneys rates itself as a leading international offshore law firm, with more than 12 offices around the globe. According to its website, Harneys advises the world’s top law firms, financial institutions and corporations on the laws of Bermuda, [British] Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus and Anguilla.
