"This year's Hunt for the Cure was an energy-fueled occasion with a greater number of teams registering and taking part in the event than last year, which had been hampered by the COVID-19 restrictions," said Walk Manager, Fabian Devonish, Branch Manager, Retail, Platinum and Business Banking, CIBC FirstCaribbean in a press release on October 6, 2022.
"This was the lead into the grand finale of our annual Walk for the Cure this Saturday and we were really impressed with the effort that was put in to vie for theprizes of Best Dressed Team and Best Thematically Dressed Vehicle and Best Message of Hope.
"The organising team put forward a great challenge for treasure hunters in delivering the 20 quiz-type clues the answers for which lay in cultural, historical and community facts and statements on Tortola. Some of teams found the clues a bit hard but then admitted that figuring out the answers made it all the more rewarding! We thank all those that took part and congratulate the winners who are set to enjoy a variety of special activities in the BVI," Devonish said.
