Gunman robs ‘Spanish Bar’ of $$ in Sea Cows Bay
However, reports reaching our newsroom indicate that around 9:30 PM a lone gunman wearing a mask pounced on the ‘Spanish Bar’ and made off with cash.
It is unclear the amount of money taken, whether patrons of the bar were also robbed or the type of gun the lone male used to carry out the crime.
Police are still investigating the incident and did not immediately respond to questions up to publication time.
Lift curfew- Julian Willock
It is important to note that the alleged robbery took place before the curfew and it again shows the curfew is not an effective way to fight crime, according to former Permanent Secretary and Businessman Julian Willock, who has emerged as the lone voice calling for the lifting of the 3-month old restrictions.
Our newsroom will bring more details on the robbery at Isabella's Bar and Restaurant when they become available.
