GREENLAND, Tortola, VI- Explosive half-centuries from Ragel Noel and Derrol Redhead catapulted Grenada CC to a 157-run win over VI Combined Renegades when the two teams met in the BVI Cricket Association (BVICA) T20 Tournament at Greenland Playfield on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Batting first, Grenada posted a massive 267/5, powered by Ragel Noel’s 90 off 50 balls and Derrol Redhead’s explosive 75 off 30 balls.

Despite Kelsey Roberts’ standout bowling (3/10), the Renegades couldn’t contain Grenada’s aggressive batting.

Renegades collapse

In response, the Renegades collapsed to 110/8 in 12.2 overs, with only Collin Joseph (39) and Wayne Archer (21) showing resistance.

Ragel Noel also impressed with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 27 runs, earning him the Player of the Match title.

More games in the BVICA T20 Tournament are scheduled for this Sunday, February 2.

Game 1, from 9:30 AM, will bring together Royal Knights and Vikings while Game 2, from 1:30 PM, will be between Falcons and Police.
