Gov’t receives keys to newly revamped Theodolph Faulkner Admin Building
The Administration Building, which was damaged in the hurricanes of 2017, houses the District Office and Police Station, and was repaired through a partnership between the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA).
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) in remarks at the handover ceremony said it was fitting that the administration building should carry the name of a stalwart who was perhaps one of the Territory’s most inspiring figures.
“By a simple stand, Faulkner altered the course of the political, economic and social development of the Virgin Islands and we are honoured to see to the rehabilitation of this administration building today,” Premier Fahie said.
