Gospel & Reggae legend Carlene Davis to perform at VIP’s Grand Rally

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – International Gospel and Lovers Rock Reggae singer Carline Davis is set to perform at the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) grant final rally this evening, Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Starting time for the rally is 6:45 pm at the Parking lot in front of R.G. Hodge Plaza next to One Stop Mall in Road Town, Tortola.

According to a campaign poster, the event is also said to feature other performances by Brent & Oneyke backed by the High-Frequency Band.

All VIP candidates expected to turn out 

Persons attending the rally can expect to hear from all the VIP candidates ahead of the April 24, 2023, General elections date in the VI, with each briefly laying out their plan for the country once elected in the 2023 Polls.

During his campaign launch at The Stickit in Long Look on April 4, 2023, Premier Dr The Hon Natalio D.  said while his government has made a great deal of progress over the last few years, there is still more work to be done.

Premier spoke about the need to bring employment to all the districts including an agricultural programme, adherence to labour codes, developments in travel, tourism, and construction, along with a greater mandate for the Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA), amongst more projects.

The party will also have a grand motorcade tomorrow, April 23, 2023, starting 1:00 pm on Tortola and then 5:00 pm on Virgin Gorda at North Sound before polls open on Monday.

The Virgin Islands Party (VIP) is the only party with a full list of candidates contenting all district and at-large seats in the 2023 Elections.  

Polls show a dead heat between contesting parties for this year's 2023 Elections and it is unclear which party will have a majority to form a government.

        Mark Vanterpool is a politician; and politics has been good to him. That so called slipup wasn't a slipip at all. You During the time Mark was on the VIP team he, Rt O'Neal and Omah Hodge frequently took terms to bash the British, every chance they got, and it was how they felt about the British. Mark simply had one of thosem Vip-Moments under the VIp and had temporarily forgotten about the NDP. He was in a mood a Vip mood...and it got away.. He was reved up. I did my thing on Thursday and will be sleeping late tomorrow. However, I was in Vincent Wheatley's motorcade Sunday afternoon/night. More than 50 vehicles, including 4 Trucks were in the motorcade. Shereen had a Motorcade with one Jeep, or pickup that is understood drove up to North Sound twice for the night. My Report on tomorrow:s outcome? 4 more years for Vincent Wheatley and his VIP team.. And hear what the governor said: "He is ready to work with whatever party wins the election". Sorry but I got to say this VIP is the best team for the BVI at this time. They have taken a very challenging situation and managed to use it to their Benefit. NDP1 and NDP 2 re now perceived as one party. They are also being perceived as no different, and probably worst than any other party. If you talk about Character the NDP can't claim to be of better character than Vip. They are all basically good people. However the ViP is being seen by our Fellow Caribbean brothers and sister as more consideret of them, Unlike the NDP that is seen more as being for the well off rhich includ8nh White folks. Every day is a learning day.

    That's how I would describe the 20 plus years he spentBS-ing the innocent thinking people. Especially the young folks who might be closing thei eyss and seeing a brighter future in him an others among him. For example during the early 1990s when I work in California promoting and marketing the Bvi as a preferred Tourism Destination. I recall taking up my position at our Tourism booth at some of the marketing events. The chief at the Jamaican Travel Booth used to regularly throw derogative expressions at me. For example he never failed to tell me that he wanted to Buy an island; as if we were s huge country selling islands. He used to follow that up saying that he wants to have his own police force on his island.
    Thirty years later we are not only selling islands but also selling Water Rights. Imagine that. Selling rights like fishermen fishing grounds. ,Ow gues who is the King of Water Rights. The poulat most extravagant doctor who the people of the 7th recently Rejected before he decided to head out into the larger nvi where his record is less known. But it is clear as day to us in the 9th. It is said that a Leper cannot change his skin. That sums it up.
    The damage I'm talking about is waye Rights given out by jom to David Johnson of Oil Nut nay and to Richard Branson of Ne ker Island and Mosquito Island. I'm addition he is also known to be the King of 99 years Lease Renewals on Virgin Gorda.
    We have already given more than our contribution to the development of the Bbi, through Selling our landd such as where Little Dix Bay Hotel now sits, the land where Bitter End and Biras Creek sits as well as the 3p0 acres at Oil Nit Bay. A vote for Voy Levo s is a Vote for Kedroc as well as Lorna. Vote as if your future depends on it. For on fact it does
