ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Territorial At Large Representative and Opposition Member Hon Carvin Malone is anticipating 2023 to be “a year of reckoning, reforming and resetting.”

In his New Year’s message to the territory today, January 1, 2023, Hon Malone also believes it is a year that the VI will be delivered from the United Kingdom (UK) Order in Council in reserve that hangs over the territory like the ‘Sword of Damocles’.

The Order in Council gives the unelected governor, a UK national, the power to suspend the Virgin Islands' constitution and impose direct rule, an action that has been rejected by the majority of the Virgin Islands, the United Nations (UN), CARICOM, the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, the University of the West Indies (UWI) and US Virgin Islands Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr.

The former Health Minister, Hon Malone, also dedicated 2023 to the dearly departed, Virgin Islands stalwarts and to the fervent works of nationals and non-nationals who have succeeded in developing and administrating the territory.

‘God is able’

He said their successes have attracted immigrants from island nations and from countries near and far throughout the world.

“We welcome everyone to the Virgin Islands as we transition to the greatness of our abilities. God is able and will see us through our periods of successes and missteps.”

He added: “God has seen us through floods, hurricanes, the global pandemic, a commission of inquiry and will deliver us from an Order in Council.”

The Opposition Member stated that as the Virgin Islands people participate in the review of the VI Constitution and as they ready themselves for the elections of 2023, “rest assured that together we can and, together we must.

“We must develop an agenda that fulfil the dreams and aspirations of our people far beyond our years,” Hon Malone stated.

The public has until January 31, 2023, to submit comments to the Constitutional Review Commission.

I agree. Hon. Malone is talking sense but like Noah when he was building the ark most of us taking what he is saying for a joke but we will soon realize that this plot to enslave us by the colonial masters is not a joke. Just like the rest of the world the BVI is still staggering from the worse pandemic in the last 100 years where no government or country knew what to do. While we were dealing with that or trying to deal with it the Governor launched what appears to be a non transparent COI while we were dying and sick and our economy challenged. Then gave us with a pre-authoured report and recommendations to help the Governor to direct the police to do plenty unethical investigations and arrest. However it is so well organized that it seems justifiable to some. They help to create a perfect storm to add to the already natural storm to do what they always wanted to do. They will soon find out that we are resilient people. Continue the fight Hon. Vanterpool and Hon. Malone.

God gave us all common sense, but some of you refuse to use it. If you keep calling on God for everything instead of handling it yourselves, he will get sick of you. God has an entire world to help, especially those war-torn, starving famine, flooded, volcano eruption places. You have a little thing to do to help yourselves which is very selfish to keep calling on God.

Speak for yourself. Malone is speaking a lot of sense. Look out in 2023 where the Governor will try to justify to the public the need for the order in Council and its implementation through abuse of power with the police force UK officers making a lot of arrest whether it warrants it or not. They need to keep the people in fear so they can cry to them for refuge. This will be another abuse of power.

Go check their expenditure on specialist and consultations and you will be surprised if you dig deep that they are not special police officers or investigators or auditors but rather spiritualist guiding them how to get our sleeping people enslaved with things like COI and order in Council. Ting to talk.

In the hight of the pandemic this is what we wanted to hear ,but no you were hell bent on everyone taking the jab now you on here talking about God will see us through. Thank God some of us kept our faith and believe that God would see us through and he did . Where was your faith in those times . Stop speaking cause you failed the test a long time. God gave us a simple test and and all you so call men and women of God failed ,so try don't mention my papa name . Go and repent for all the people you made take the vaccine you went so far as to offer people food for their death. You people had no clue about this vaccine, but yet you encourage us to take it that same God you are talking about he will judge you for that act. For the life of me I could not understand why so many men and women of God promoted that vaccine without having all the facts. Because of you all my family and friends took the death jab . You have a lot to ask God forgiveness for.

The Governor is from the UK. The Commissioner of Police is from the UK. Most of the Governor senior staff is from the UK. Most of the senior police officers are from the UK. The UK Governor is in charge of the police and is not accountable to the people of the BVI but only the UK. The Commissioner of the COI was from the UK and was hired by the UK Governor and the UK. The COI recommendations were given for investigations from the UK COI Commissioner to the UK Governor who gave them to the UK police to investigate. I hope everyone getting the picture. They will try to slaughter us in 2023 and make it seem justifiable, but it is really about a takeover using modern slavery tactics of an Order in Council. Please my people wake up. Not one of us will survive if we do not wake up.

The BVI can complete and implement every recommendation from that questionable COI process, and it still will never be enough to satisfy the UK. Just wait and see. The reality is the UK wants to rule all OTs directly so they can give their friends jobs as the economy in the UK is really bad. If we think we have it bad under elected officials, and our current local public officers, then wait until you are ruled directly by Brits. BVI be careful what you are asking for because you will regret it. The Brits must stop this abuse of power and remove the Order in Council FORTHWITH!

This whole things is well organized. The Order in Council is part of the plot where we see that not only the UK Officers are taking over the senior part of the police force but not one of them is black. This says a lot. This is an organized legal but unethical abuse of power by all involved including the Governor who the force is under. Look out for plenty illegal taping of phone calls to create a case against people especially those that speak out against this plot and the Governor and the UK. Look out for targeting of people who they feel are a treat to their plot. Look out for deeper rooting of this plot by the same attempt to take over the senior post in the public service and the judiciary especially using their COI recommendations as their roots along with other one sided audit reports they ordered. Look out for them to start to target certain pastors. Look out for them trying to mingle among us so they can get to know us but this is just to enslave us. This is the same 500 yrs play book of slavery but in a fully modernized fashion. What is disheartening is they always get some of us to fall for it due to how well organized they plan it. Oh my people rise up.

Can anyone in the BVI audit, evaluate, investigate or discipline the Governor? Is there any law to ensure any of the above is ever done? The answer is no. The enforcement of our laws in modern days are not for the slave masters/colonial masters but it is for everyone else including the public officers, private citizens and elected officials. As a matter of fact they are the ones to enforce the laws through their control of the police force. Now ask yourself how can this be right in the 21st century. What is even worse of all is the same Governor goes to the UK with questionable information and get an order in Council approved to suspend our constitution if and when he is not satisfied with our actions and the actions of our judiciary and systems. Listen people, I am not a political person and not a Malone fan but wrong cannot be right. What the Governor and UK is doing with this order in Council is WRONG!!!
  • Time to rise up (02/01/2023, 01:33) Like (7) Dislike (9) Reply
Malone and Mark are on point. As for the few who the slave masters in the BVI have brainwashed please make sure you keep a full tab on all events and who was behind all of this ongoing chaos and why and why now. So let me help those persons recapp a bit with the following because there is more......
    - The UK is listed as one of the most corrupt country that hides their corruption yet they still remain in charge of their own affairs. They cannot suspend their constitution because they have none but abusing their powers to act above the judiciary system and suspend the constitution of the BVI. Can you imagine what will happen to us if they ever get through with having jury less cases? Watch the game.
    - A non transparent COI by the Governor that hides his wrong and inefficiencies but exposes who they wanted to expose for unethical reasons which will soon be known.
    - A public service that has FAILED and failed in upgrading for 35 years and it is solely under the Governor but he gets exempted from the failures or from being known as the failure.
    - Questionable actions of pass governors and Commissioner of Police swept under the rug.
    - Man died and was missing but only the Governor knew where he was to find him. The Governor was never questioned. Imagine the police dog searched around the same area where the Governor found the missing man that was found dead and did not find the man. Many police officers did the same. Thing to talk.
    - UK resisted doing a COI in the heat of Covid in the UK because it was not the best interest of the people of the UK to do at that time since the UK needed to save lives and the economy in the UK but did one on the BVI while we were dying and sick and our economy in a tail spin like the rest of the world.
    - Had public officers who they want arrested for breach of trust but protecting others who are assisting in their plots.
    - In other Overseas territories where it was found wrong doing by governors they were sent back to the UK and are roaming free without any charges or arrest and a new Governor sent to replace them and that is the end of the matter.
    - One black Governor sent to the Caribbean in the last 50 years and it was in 2021 in Bermuda. How do you explain this in this day and age other than racism.
    - The UK already determined what they want and do not intend to let the judiciary take their course with matters so the UK and their Governor has a order in Council waiting to implement to go above the judiciary. WHAT HIGH HANDEDNESS AND EVIL!!!

Will stop there for now but let's keep track of everything. The point is no one man should have the power to look into everyone and go at who they want ethically or not and the system does not allow it to be reciprocal or keep them in check. This is where the real chaos comes. It is wrong and you cannot do wrong claiming you are trying to get right. At least public officers can be suspended or fired and elected officials can be voted out but the system totally exempts governors and the UK from punishment for unethical and questionable actions. This is why it is time for independence with solid systems in place to govern us because we will never do anything good or right in their sight unless they are doing it or they are governing. The BVI is no worse than any other countries but that is what they want us to believe and have some of us believing.

Imagine where the world would be if Moses and the Israelites had the same ignorant mentality about coming out from under the Egyptians as some of us have for coming out from under the UK, their Governor, and their colonialistic rule. The more things change the more they remain the same. Remember Moses was not a sugar cake but he fulfilled God's purpose for the people. The order in Council is a modern day slavery whip to do what the old slave master whip use to do which was to strike fear and keep persons quite out of fear from rising up and speaking out against this injustice.

To me the UK relationship with the BVI and all their Caribbean overseas territories reminds me of a battered and abusive relationship where the man keep making the woman feel as if she can do nothing right unless he does it for her and also will never make it in life and do anything positive if she leaves him. This is wrong on all fronts but this is what the order in Council represents...ABUSE! The time has come to move on but with strong policies and laws in place as is being done to hold all accountable at all times.

In the days of slavery the slaves were led to believe that they cannot survive if they run away from under the leadership of the slave masters. Does this sound familiar? Well it should because the same slave masters but with modern strategy have people in the BVI and other overseas territories some 400 years later saying that if they are not ruling us then then we will be domed and our security and economy will not be secure and we will fail. People stop buying their brain washing philosophy. Slavery was wrong but made right by them. It is the same strategy as 400 years ago but in a modern form where they are selling it in a way that is getting some of our support but this is a mistake. In terms of the order in Council this is wrong beyond measure on all front. independence is not a matter of if but when. They will always make us feel as if we can never govern ourselves in a transparent manner. Let's avoid history being repeated and being enslaved once again.

Did anyone ever wonder why we are always down on politicians and public officers and not the Governor? The reason is the Governor is hidden behind the system they created and they are not elected but selected by the UK only. Do some research and find out exactly what all the Governor is responsible for and then find out which one of his subject is a success story. You will be surprised to find out that the Governor has been the biggest failure in this entire equation but have more power than the courts so they hide themselves from the anger of the people while using their powers to destabilize the people's trust in each other and all public officers and politicians. They are masters at deception. The problem is that they have mastered it so well most of us believe in them when they are the real devil in the mix. This is their strategy from slavery days.

When a man wrong ways seems right in his sight only, you know you have a modern day Pharaoh and/or Saul. The BVI is no worse than any other country. I am sure it will reveal that the facts were massaged to fit their purpose purpose. Every story has two sides and then the truth. The people of the BVI need to know what was in that document sent by the Governor so that they can have a fair and transparent opportunity to defend themselves. In a time of when the Governor and UK is calling for transparency, they have acted under a cloud of secrecy and deceit.

Your media houses both print and broadcast promoted nothing but the enslavement (mental slavery) keeping the population largely retarded. Those who refused to go along with the dumb down program were victimized and kept down. When Noel Lloyd's shop was burned he salvaged some of the merchandise held a sale and started to recoup but his business place was set ablaze again. I am not in agreement with what is currently taking place but there was a crying need for a wake up call. How can a people be so traumatized that they start to love their traumatic experiences. We are defining ourselves through the colonizers still. How can we be so blind. This is not just about Tortola the entire diaspora is on the move and we must find our rightful place in the scheme of things.
