God prefers a team from ‘each party’ to take VI forward– Christian Minister
“One party in this nation or another does not have the skills to take us forward, we need a team of managers to move our nation forward… it means that we would have persons from each party that comes before us,” she added in a prayer sermon delivered on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Unity Gov’t is way forward– Ms Toussaint
A Unity Government made up of members from the Virgin Islands Party, the National Democratic Party (NDP) and People's Progressive Movement (PVIM) was formed to stave off British direct rule; however, the group will not be contesting the elections as a unit.
Ms Toussaint added that there are political leaders with selfish desires in the VI who must therefore step aside and let others shine.
“There are people from each political party that have the skill set to take us forward. The problem that we have in the Virgin Islands is that each person has their own selfish desires and wants to be the head of the nation. God is saying to you today, put aside your pride, put aside your ignorance”.
She said in the VI, everybody cannot be the leader and cannot be the chief, rather the VI needs a stern hand of management to take the nation forward.
Electorate only voting for want & not needs – Ms Toussaint
She added that the VI is not made up of dumb people and know what they need yet they continue to vote for what they want.
“Virgin Islands, hear the word of the Lord today. These are not my words, but these are the words of the true and the living God."
She said the 2023 elections must be about country and not individual needs.
“This election has to reposition the Virgin Islands. We need good management, a steady hand and capable management of our resources. We need an economist, somebody who can diversify our economy,” she added.

John 20.
After the men leave, Mary looks deeper into the tomb and sees two men—angels—who ask why she is crying. She is not expecting to see Jesus at all, let alone someone vibrant and healthy. When she turns with blurred eyes and speaks with someone in the dim light, His identity escapes her. When Jesus says her name, she suddenly realizes what has happened. That Jesus chooses to appear to women, first, is significant. This speaks to Jesus' elevation of women as spiritual equals of men, and to the honesty of the gospel accounts. Jesus asks Mary to tell the others what has happened, and she obeys (John 20:11–18)
Alabaster is a mineral or rock that is soft and can be easily shaped by outside forces - but it is soft with no real substance.
[23]Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath PUT A LYING SPIRIT in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee..
These false prophets always lying on God....when did he tell you that...on the phone ...did god call your number to talk to you..did you have a private meeting with him?
This country needs honest god fearing people who think about the youth and will put things in place for them seeing they are the future!
gone are the days when one group should lead these virgin islands
