Gifted Hands Programme to host Back To School Reading Event

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – The Gifted Hands Programme, in collaboration with Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club (SCBBC) and the Honourable Julian Fraser RA, Third District Representative, will be hosting a back to school reading event for children ranging from ages 4 to 8.

The event is scheduled for August 28-31, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. The venue will be announced at a later date.

The community can enjoy activities such as: reading and storytelling, mini book fair, word treasure hunt, back to school fun fair and much more.

In addition, persons will have the opportunity to hang out with some of the Third District Heroes and hear their stories.

    The reading programme is actually for children between the ages of 4 to 13.

    I think the person was jus clarifying the age that was stated in the article as the flyer that was distributed said ages 4-13. We all know that there are adults that cannot read. Some also do not comprehend.
