FSN receives $10K donation from Drakes Traders Ltd.
The annual seasonal donation was presented to Ms Dorolie Donovan, Case Manager, FSN, at the store in Fish Bay, Tortola on December 17, 2024, where representatives from Drakes Traders gathered to mark the occasion, a press release said.
FSN called the donation timely as the funds will support not only the restocking of the FSN’s community pantry, but also allow them to extend assistance in providing emergency shelter and food for individuals and families, counselling services and job placement support services.
Miss Donavan added that the contribution comes at a crucial time which now enables the organization to extend its services during the holiday season, a period when the demand for assistance is particularly high.
Meanwhile, Mr Christian Esser, Managing Director of Drakes Traders Ltd. expressed the company’s commitment to being a longstanding partner of FSN.
“We believe in the transformative work that FSN does and want to reflect our support in a meaningful way by contributing to their efforts to uplift and support families in need, especially during the holidays,” he said.

Thank you very much Drake's Traders Ltd, for your heart felt humane donation gift of $10,000.00 to the Family support Network (FSN) for the needy.
Maybe I haven't noticed. But if you don't mind my asking, have the Family support any special monetary donations from our government for the Christmas holidays this year? And if so, how much?
All of the money in the BVI Treasury is the people of the BVI money. Agree?????????
