FSN Holiday Fundraising Raffle gets second winner
The owner of the new and improved phone, which was among the top sellers for Black Friday 2018, was Ms Freena McDonald.
According to a press release from Nagico Insurances dated December 3, 2018, Ms McDonald was at work at Tortola Pier Park when she received the phone call informing her she was the lucky winner of the Samsung Galaxy S9, which was donated by Flow.
Brainchild of the fundraising raffle, Eighth Grade Student of Cedar International School, Ariel Mohamed, along with Director of Family Support Network Mrs Sasha Stoutt, and Marketing and Communications Manager of Flow Mrs Nadia James- Harris visited an elated McDonald at her place of work to present her prize.
Among those witnessing the raffle drawing on November 30 was Country Manager of Flow BVI Mr Colin MacDonald.
The first raffle drawing was done on November 17, 2018, and Ms Lakeisha Claxton won herself a 50’ Samsung Smart TV compliments of Klass Electronics.
The grand drawing of an iPhone Xs, along with 10 consolation prizes, will be done outside Riteway in Pasea on Saturday, December 15, 2018.
Raffle tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at Nagico Insurances, Tortola Auto Group (TAG) and Envy Salon, Spa and Barber Shop on Tortola Pier Park.
The consolation prizes, which will be raffled prior to the drawing for the iPhone Xs, are: Dinner for two at Charlie’s Restaurant; Dinner for two at a Taste of India; Lunch for two at the Watering Hole; $50 Gift Certificate from Body Glam; $50 Gift Certificate from Swirlzzz Frozen Yogurt & Treatz; Facial Treatment at Studio One Salon & Spa; Classic Manicure & Pedicure from Allure Day Spa; Monica Rick Kosann Silver Locket from House of Luxury; Board Games (Connect 4 and Life) from Island Services and a Couples Pedicure from Envy SSB.
