GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- More than 40 secondary and elementary school children on Jost van Dyke benefitted when the Family Support Network (FSN) distributed a number of food, clothing and school supplies on the sister island on Friday, September 6, 2019.

The organisation said it wanted to spread assistance around to as many families as possible.

“At this time of year families have to spend more money on their children for their education, so limited funds becomes even more stretched especially on our sister islands,” said Director of FSN, Sasha H. Stoutt.

Ms Stoutt further told Virgin Islands News Online that on Tortola there was the Breakfast Kick Start Programme and the Back to School Drive and this year FSN wanted to extend its assistance to school children and their families on Jost van Dyke as well.

“We are delighted to assist as we can within our capacity knowing that Family Support Network is only able to do so with the support of donations from businesses, organisations, families and individuals in the BVI that are community minded,” MS Stoutt remarked.
