Fort-de-France beauty to rep Martinique at Miss Universe 2024
FORT-DE-FRANCE, Martinique- Catherine Edouard has been crowned as the new Miss Universe Martinique.
The 25-year-old received the crown on Saturday after competing against nine other women
Hailing from Fort-de-France, Edouard is an entrepreneur who specialises in strategic communication to boost local businesses. She is also the ambassador of Plaisir d'Enfant, which fosters social cohesion and supports children with autism spectrum disorder.
“A judo enthusiast, Catherine is committed to advocating for women’s empowerment through sports, with a focus on mental health and self-defence,” Miss Martinique Universe said.
Tasquiny Almont was her first runner-up.
Edouard will join over 80 women from around the world in Mexico in November for the 73rd Miss Universe pageant.
