First Pres Obama with Kenyan father, now VP Harris with Jamaican Dad!
He has roots in Africa the motherland with a Kenyan father. He served two terms in that office from 2009-2017.
Now history is about to be made again this time with Vice President Kamala D. Harris (D). It was last night August 22, 2024, when she accepted the Democratic Presidential Nomination in Chicago, Illinois before a rapturous crowd, pledging a "new way forward" and warning that Donald J. Trump (R) her opponent will take America backward if he wins the November 2024 blockbuster election.
The 59-year-old current Vice President of the USA sought to strike a presidential tone as she delivered a message of unity and patriotism for Americans after one of the most extraordinary turnarounds in US political history.
She also has roots in the Caribbean with a Jamaican father in the person of Donald J. Harris.
Could she make history?
In her acceptance speech last night she noted, "With this election, our nation has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism, and divisive battles of the past — a chance to chart a new way forward," Harris said to huge cheers from tens of thousands of pumped-up supporters, "And I want you to know: I promise to be a president for all Americans,” according to the Associated Press.
Many countries of colour were happy to see Mr. Obama as President, the first black man in history, and they are now even more excited if Vice President Harris makes it, as she will be the second black and first woman to hold the office.
Last night the Democratic National Convention saw a sea of waving stars and stripes flags accompanied by chants of "USA" filled the arena as jubilant Democrats anointed Harris at the United Centre.
At the end of her blockbuster speech, she was joined on stage by her running mate Timothy J. Walz (D) and their families, as they held their arms aloft while 100,000 red, white, and blue balloons tumbled from the ceiling.

You are telling me that any black skinned person they put in front of black people to vote for is good for the history books? What about the current world economy, the moral decadence, and the failure of the American immigration laws to name a few of the Democrat’s failures. What Real Country has an open Land Border for 3 plus years?!?! They even put the illegals in hotels and give them 2k debit cards and a cell phone . But their own citizens struggle to make ends meet. Over 100k missing children. Over 100k drug overdoses. All for future Democratic votes.
That lady and the current Democratic Party has horrible policies f. Her and Biden has done nothing to prevent the upcoming ww3. As a matter of fact they have exasperated ww3 with the Ukraine's Proxy war.
Golly, she is even scared to take on an interview to answer questions about her own scanty policies. Don’t talk about how they are encouraging little boys to “transition” to little girls and vice-versa. Men tormenting women in sports. I can go on and on.
The same Democratic Party had her to be a failure just a month ago but now that Biden croaked over they are making her look like she is better than slice bread because it is too late in the game to make any other drastic proposal.

What exact Immigration law has failed that left the border open? The border is open with border agents, there are illegal immigrants entering through other ports of entry, but the Republicans don’t want to fix the problem. That way Trump can run on it and cry about a problem they helped create.
The “illegals” you say are put up in hotels are asylum seekers that were bused to states as theater. Each state and cities have a budget to help house and place those migrants. People who enter the U.S. illegally are not eligible for federal cash assistance, with the exception of certain Cubans and Haitians. Refugees and people granted asylum, migrants, are entitled to certain public benefits, including cash assistance related to their initial resettlement, but it isn’t as high as $2k.
Nobody is encouraging transition with children, in order for a person to fully transition, they have to be 18 years of age when they’re considered an adult. There are no men in women sports. There are laws that prevent that from happening. Find one. What you’re doing is repeating all the right wing talking points as facts.
Also, what World War 3 are you talking about? Ukraine is an alley of the United States and Russia invaded them. The United States and other NATO states are providing weapons to help them defend themselves. If they don’t stop Russia from taking Ukraine, Poland will be next and he won’t stop there.
Where did you get these figures from drug overdoses and children missing? What does that have to do with the President and his policies?
Kamala Harris is running on the same platform as Joe Biden and as for interviews. She’s actually out there meeting the people where they’re at, and the mainstream media doesn’t get to form a narrative. Fun fact, there are a pool of reporters that travel with her and she talks to them everyday.

Trump isn’t perfect, but he is the best option right now. Luckily a great number of US citizens have come to realize this. There is hope. Not Obama’s hope, hope to clean up the mess the Democrats created.
