Sad
stop cusing the police for enforcing the lockdown.
Stay indoors-stay lockdown.
Covid-19 is real in all parts of the USVI/BVI and the world.
You can afford to stay away but what about those who cannot? What about those who have rent to pay? Mortgage and other loans? Jobs? Businesses?
Legally enforceable quarantine is the answer.

.
BVI Government is doing an amazing job with their decisions in this very difficult time . Let's support them and show the rest of the world how a community works. Let's stay inside and get this nightmare behind us ! It takes everyone to make it work and we can.
It would be nice to get some more details on whether the person had a pre-existing condition and their age. USVI has tested 266 , 42 of which were positive 1 death and 38 recovered. They have a high percentage of recovery and they have tested a fair bit of people for a decent sample so that is good. Remember their sea and air ports have remained open to travelers throughout and no curfew so this could be much worse. Social distancing measures must be working with businesses and people practicing strict adherence.
Sure stats don't tell the whole story but not bad at all.
