ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Fireworks lit up the sky as the Virgin Islands (VI) ushered in 2025 at various locations across the territory, including Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park, Trellis Bay Market Bar and Grill, Oil Nut Bay, Peter Island and Foxy’s on Jost van Dyke.

Once the congratulations and well wishes were said, it was then back to partying to music and live performances.

One of the well-attended venues last night, December 31, 2024, was Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park where the atmosphere was suited for the entire family.

Keeping the hype going were Monea, Revalation, VIBE, Xtreme, Ova Drive, Xclusive Sounds, Razor Blades and The Association.

Persons hugged and kissed each other, as a magnificent fireworks display helped to ring in the New Year.

Such was the large number of patrons at Tortola Pier Park and the success of the event that many vendors reported they ran out of alcohol even though they had doubled stocked.

Foxy’s

New Years Eve is never a proper one without a party at Foxy’s Restaurant and Bar on Jost van Dyke.

The feature performer at the Mad Hatters Tea Party on Foxy’s was Third World.

As is always the case, a large number of persons made it to Jost van Dyke to ring in the New Year at one of the most popular tourist destinations.

Trellis Bay

The Trellis Bay Market Bar and Grill has become another favourite location for persons to usher in the New Year.

This year did not disappoint, with Riddim N Waves getting the honour of keeping patrons in a celebratory mood.

It was also an opportunity for many to witness a spectacular fireworks display.

If the many fireworks across the territory was any indication of the kind of year to look forward to, there is much optimism for 2025.

Piee Park was missing a big Int't act. The organization was good, the paid parking controlled was great.. I would encouraged steve Parillon to team up with Pier Park for Vybz Kartel show at Pier Park.. That will be really nice .Have the Stage Back to the exit Gate to the left. no fencing, the whole park open up. Every entrance is Paid. You can still use the existing stage for earlier acts...

This is not a one person thing, it may seem so, it may look so, it may appear so. It's not so. Delegation, Team work, always make the thing work. I agree it was good, missing an Int'l artist to really nice the thing up.

Vybz Kartel show should be at Pier Park, If Steve and Zoe can work together. Pier has the control blue print in safety and parking. The rest rooms. it's just the perfect place. .
