VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, VI- A restaurant in Virgin Gorda was completely destroyed by fire last evening, Friday, January 17, 2025.

Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) can confirm that the restaurant is called the Jerk Pit located near the Delta Gas Station. Pictures show the area corded of by caution tape. 

No information regarding the cause of the fire have yet to be released or whether or not there were any injuries. 

VINO will continue to follow this story as it develops.

    The jerk pit was a very delicious place to eat and the lady who ran it (I hope they rebuild) was a hard-working lady, proud of her business.

    I hope they get back on their feet soon.
