ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The championship games in the Inter-Secondary Schools Volleyball Tournament organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) will be played on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

Girls Division

The girls’ championship will be contested by overwhelming favourites Cedar Strikers and Ciboney Sharks while the boys’ championship is expected to be an entertaining battle between ESHS Rams and BFEC Arabians.

Both games will start at 5:30 PM.

Cedar Strikers cruised into the final on Thursday, November 30, 2023, with a 21-11, 21-12 defeat of SDA Disciples.

Ciboney Sharks reached the final at the expense of ESHS Rams, who they overcame 21-13, 19-21, 15-2.

Boys Division

In the boys division, BFEC Arabians proved too good for SDA Disciples, winning 21-14, 21-12, to reach the final.

ESHS Rams seemed to have fun en route to their 21-16-21-13 win over Cedar Strikers.

3-place games

The third-place games will be played from 4:30 PM on Tuesday.

ESHS Rams and SDA Disciples will meet in the girls’ division and Cedar Strikes and SDA Disciples will battle in the boys’ division.
