Phillip sisters haul 16 medals for VI at OECS Swimming C/ships
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- History was created for Team BVI at the 23rd OECS Swimming Championships in St Lucia at the weekend as the young swimmers captured 16 medals, including 9 gold medals and 5 OECS records.
VI could host 22nd OECS Swimming C/ships if pool is completed
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands could make more swimming history next year if the Olympic size pool in Virgin Gorda is completed as the Territory could host the OECS Swimming Championships for the first time ever.
Elinah Phillips sets new OECS record at championships!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Elinah Phillips beat the time set by Tuesday Watts in 2002 in winning the Gold Medal in the 9-10 yr old Girls 50m Free style Event at the 21st OECS Swimming Championships which was held in St Lucia from November 4 - 6, 2011.
