VI has no political willpower to deal with silt pond issues– Bishop Cline
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– Outspoken clergyman Bishop John I. Cline, in calling for more to be done to preserve and even restore silt ponds in the [British] Virgin Islands, has said governments in the past and even now have lacked the political will to address the issue.
NDP Gov’t spent $10.3M to lengthen airport runway; Where did the $$ go?
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- It has been revealed that the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government actually spent about $10.3 million in what was supposed to be an attempt at lengthening the runway at Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport; however, the runway was never extended.
