VI joins Chile & Colombia’s call for stronger response to disaster displacement
BOGOTA, Colombia, SA- The [British] Virgin Islands (VI) has joined the Governments of Chile and Colombia in jointly calling for the strengthening of the regional framework for response to forced displacements caused by disasters such as hurricanes in Latin America and the Caribbean.

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent & the Grenadines- The [British] Virgin Islands (VI), through Special Envoy to the Premier Mr E. Benito Wheatley, has secured support for 13 British, Dutch, French, and United States (US) Territories in the Caribbean at the United Nations (UN) Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Regional Preparatory Meeting in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
