RVIPF launches new ‘crime mapping capability’ in VI
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) on Monday, March 8, 2021, launched a Geographic Information computer-based mapping tool developed in partnership with Town and Country Planning that it says will allow the force to map crime in the Virgin Islands (VI).
Unauthorised developments continue to be a challenge for VI
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - According to the 2011 Town & Country Planning Department (T&CPD) report emanating from the Premier's Office, the monitoring and control of on-going developments continue to be severely hampered due to a limited staff component.
