Win over Colgate brings smiles to Great Danes!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In front of a large University of Albany crowd, Virgin Islander Tammy Phillip and the Great Danes snapped their two-game losing streak with a second half surge for a 64-50 victory over Colgate to end the year on a high note following back to back defeats.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Virgin Islander Tammy Phillip, the 5-foot-11 senior guard, got her chance to help the University at Albany women's basketball team continue to roll at SEFCU Arena when she scored a career-high 13 points as the Danes drubbed Cal State Fullerton 71-49 in front of 567 fans on Wednesday November 20, 2013.
