HoA sits Friday May 17, 2019; Business as usual
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With the matter surrounding the District 4 (D4) seat of Representative-elect Mr Mark H. Vanterpool and House of Assembly (HoA) Speaker Hon Julian Willock heading to the Court of Appeal for the final decision, the HoA has indicated that until then it will be business as usual.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A caller to the talk show Speak Out BVI with host Doug Wheatley on ZBVI 780 AM on May 7, 2019 suggested that Fourth District Representative-Elect Mr Mark H. Vanterpool be made to forfeit his $1000 paid as nomination fee for the February 25, 2019 General Elections.
Speaker Willock moves to Court of Appeal
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Speaker of the Virgin Islands (VI) House of Assembly (HoA), Honourable Julian Willock today Tuesday, May 7, 2019, filed an appeal on the ruling handed down by Justice Ann-Marie Smith on May 2, 2019, which ordered among other things that HoA Member-elect, Mr Mark H. Vanterpool be sworn into the House.
