Cancer is two times higher in the Caribbean compared with the USA

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In a recent study published this month (December 2016) in the Morbidity & Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) conducted by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the United States Centre for Disease Control (CDC), it found that the rate of death from cancer is much higher in the Caribbean region than in the United States of America (USA) with triple the population of the Caribbean region.
