20-year sentences for RT station attackers!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – This morning, July 23, 2012, Ramon George and Courtney Meade were sentenced to 20 years each imprisonment for their role in the November 24, 2010 Road Town Police Station attack.
ESHS bat wielding man fined $2000
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Kadeem Maynard, the man who allegedly chased Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) students with a baseball bat on the school’s compound for a stolen mobile phone, was fined $2000 to be paid by 3:30 p.m. today July 23, 2012, as instructed by Magistrate Tamia Richards.
VG resident gets 30 months in prison for Marijuana find
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Appearing at the Magistrate’s Court today, July 23, 2012, to receive sentencing, Lenn Leonard of Virgin Gorda who was allegedly found with 3.4kg of cannabis, was sentenced to serve 30 months in prison starting from today.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Isaac Ragnauth, who is facing charges for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, appeared at the Magistrates Court today, July 18, 2012 where his request to have his passport to travel to St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, to shop for his business was denied.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Two days of arguments for the pros and cons of extraditing five alleged drug traffickers to the United States culminated with Justice Albert Redhead informing the Crown and Prosecution that he will hand down his decision "any day".
Charges dropped against 4 in VG night club brawl!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Charges brought against four young men were dropped due to a lack of evidence found against them on their charges which stemmed from an incident at a Virgin Gorda night club in December 2011 and one individual, who allegedly instituted the crime, pleaded guilty and was fined.
Bars in East End Closed by Police, Join in Immigration Checks
EAST END, Tortola, VI- Over the weekend, Police closed two bars for the night and shut down another two until they were able to produce licences to operate in the East End area.
