Man tells court weed not his; bedroom shared

Jamaican national facing rape charges; on $70,000 bail
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In an indictable matter brought before the Magistrate's Court on August 22, 2012, Jamaican national and resident of the Virgin Islands, Anthony Alexander, who is currently facing rape charges brought against him by the Crown, was placed on $70,000 bail with a $10,000 cash component and two sureties.
UK ship to assist in decreasing drug trade coming from South American Countries

Burglary charges dropped against DR man; says he lives there
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - A Dominican Republic national who appeared before the Magistrate's Court, yesterday August 15, 2012, pleaded guilty to charges of causing actual bodily harm and destroying property; a burglary charge which he pleaded not guilty to was dismissed and dropped by the court as requested by the Crown, after the man stated that he lived there.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Peter Gray, a national of Jamaica, pleaded not guilty today, August 15, 2012, to charges brought against him by the crown for Indecent Assault and trespassing at the Magistrate’s Court.
Man says he fought in self-defence, pleads guilty to weapon possession

UPDATE: Five on remand, two denied bail for money laundering & drug charges
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Five men who were allegedly caught laundering money in addition to being found with a substantial amount of cocaine, appeared before the Magistrates Court today, August 13, 2012. The session concluded with the men being remanded to prison until a next court hearing; two applications of bail were also denied by Magistrate Tamia Richards, who presided.
