St John man sentenced to 25 years for stabbing woman to death

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI— United States Virgin Islands (USVI) Superior Court Judge Denise Francois sentenced Adisa Bertrand to 25 years in prison, with credit for time served, for the murder of Shantee Sievenwright, the [US]VI Department of Justice announced late Friday, December 9, 2016.
Glenville Callwood goes to jail
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – When he begged senior Magistrate Tamia N. Richards for leniency on the premise that he ‘had changed his life’ after being ‘young and stupid’ Glenville Callwood did not walk out the court room with just a fine to pay and/or some order to attend counselling or do community service.
