CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- Jurors in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) took less than two hours to convict a Haitian woman of beating her roommate, stabbing her with a knife and destroying her cellphone.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— The [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) on Thursday, March 8, 2018 said Jelani Marcus Hall, 28, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful sexual contact, after it was reported — and investigated, according to police — that Mr Hall, on several occasions, had sexually assaulted two minors.
