USVI residents urged to be vigilant following Paris attacks

ST CROIX, USVI — Senator Novelle Francis Jr. said through a press release issued on Tuesday that he’s urging Virgin Islanders to practice heightened awareness of their surroundings in the wake of the tragic events that took place in Paris, France last week, where at least 129 civilians were killed in multiple terror attacks.

Potter concerning the tide of violence that had spread across St. Croix, reports came in of another shooting that had just taken place on Queen Mary Highway near the red light by St. Croix Central High School – another car riddled with bullets, another young man hit by several bullets and in serious condition.
