Mapp approved Bill No. 31-0375, repealing Act No. 7730 relating to the appropriation of $1M in connection with the litigation between the Government of the [US] Virgin Islands and the former owners of HOVENSA, and re-appropriating the $1M to the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority (P.F.A.) for professional services, studies, project development and expenses related to the St. Croix Brand Hotel Project.

Lewis on Tuesday July 12, 2016 sentenced Misael Melendez, aka ‘Salao’, 50, to 50 months’ imprisonment and three years of supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm, United States Attorney Ronald W. Judge extends Order against Gov Mapp for 2 more weeks

Mapp by two more weeks, preventing the territory’s leader from replacing Judge Michael C. Dunston with Judge Harold A. Willocks as presiding judge of the territory’s Superior Court.
