Mapp special assistant allegedly strangles wife

SION FARM, St Croix, USVI — Mr Gregory Rafael Naar, a special assistant to Governor Kenneth Mapp, was charged on Saturday (September 8, 2018) by the VIPD, with assault and simple assault after allegedly strangling his wife, which hindered her ability to breathe.
Missing man found shot dead in apartment

GROVE PLACE, St Croix, USVI — A man who went missing several days ago was found dead in his Mutual Homes apartment on Thursday morning (September 6, 2018), after a concerned resident filed a report at the VIPD’s Francis Command Police Station, relative to a missing person, VIPD Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced Thursday.

Lewis, on August 31, 2018, sentenced Nathaniel Thomas, Jr. to eight years imprisonment for possession of a firearm by a felon, fifteen years imprisonment for unauthorized possession of a firearm, and five years imprisonment for reckless endangerment, United States Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced.
