SDA school sports closest fought in years
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Early rain did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the Seventh Day Adventists School as they held their Annual Inter House Sports Day on Thursday January 30, 2014 at the A.O. Shirley Ground.
BDO & LIME School Leagues marching forward!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – To the sounds of the Althea Scatliffe Primary School and the Seventh Day Adventists Drum Corps, the BVI Football Association orchestrated a march of hundreds of school children on Wednesday January 29th, 2014, to mark the Opening of the BDO and LIME School Leagues.
VI's Phillip grabs career high as Great Danes stay unbeaten
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Virgin Islander Tammy Phillip earned a career-high 17 points and six steals, adding nine boards as UAlbany earned a 65-39 win over UMBC on Tuesday night, January 28, 2014, to stay undefeated in-conference.
“It was all based on defense, which wins games,” said Phillip. “We tried to go hard until the finish, attacking every five minutes between timeouts.”

Football on the march as school leagues start Wednesday, Jan 29
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Next Wednesday, January 29, 2014 hundreds of school youth footballers will be marching through Road Town from the ferry dock right to the A.O. Shirley (AOS) Ground at 2.30pm to mark the launch of the 3rd BDO Primary and 2nd LIME High School Leagues.
