ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Within the last seven months the Ministry of Communications and Works has set up a new Special Projects Unit outside of the Public Works Department (PWD). This unit does many of the same things the Department is mandated to do.

Works Minister hopes days of sewage on streets in RT are over!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Equipped with two 25 horsepower pumps with each having the capacity to pump some 620 gallons of sewage per minute, Minister for Communications and Works, Hon. Mark H. Vanterpool is hoping the new state of the art pump station commissioned in Road Town yesterday, July 24, 2013 would signal the end of the days of sewage in the streets of Road Town and surrounding areas.
