NDP accuses VIP of disrespecting youth & inciting violence
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Senior members of the National Democratic Party (NDP), during a campaign meeting at the Bandstand in Road Town on May 26, 2015 unleashed furious allegations against some member/s of the opposition Virgin Islands Party (VIP) candidates for allegedly bashing a young man and, in another instance, allegedly inciting violence and criminal activities against government officials.
VG still awaiting promised medical boat

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Staff of the new and old Peebles Hospital have been pulling the blanket from over their faces to uncover their discomfort and unhappiness with what they described as ‘heartless management’ at the health care facility.

‘VG Health Facility to start early 2015’ – Hon Ronnie W. Skelton
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - “In the coming weeks Cabinet will decide and we will announce the contractor selected to construct the new Nurse Iris O’Neal medical facility in Virgin Gorda (VG) and work will begin early in the new year,” said Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Ronnie W. ‘Name New Hospital for Premier Smith’ – Hon Ronnie W. Skelton
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “At some later date Mr O’Neal [Leader of the Opposition Honourable Ralph T. O’Neal OBE (R9)] if you agree, we can name the facility after [Dr the Hon D. Orlando Smith],” suggested Minister for Health and Social Development Ronnie W. Skelton as he said that would be fitting for the 40 years attachment of Premier Smith to the Health Care main facility.
‘Increase is a must!’ – BVIHSA Chairman John I. Cline
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Chairman of the Board of Directors for BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) Bishop John I. Cline said an increase in hospital fees is unavoidable despite who is in government as they are in a dastardly state of not being able to pay their bills and have had cause to close key units of the hospital for the lack of funds.
