UPDATE: ‘I was the one hit’- Bus driver in Pasea accident
PASEA, Tortola, VI – The driver of the mini-van that was involved in an accident on March 12, 2013 with a motorcycle at Pasea has refuted certain claims by persons who spoke to this news site at the scene of the accident. The driver (name given) has alleged that his vehicle was hit by the motorcycle as against the other way around as related by persons.

Stedroy Matthew fined; 18 mth suspended sentence
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Stedroy Matthew appeared before Justice Albert Redhead in the High Court today, March 8, 2013 and was given an 18 month suspended sentence and fined $900 or two months imprisonment after pleading guilty to the charge of reckless driving.
Major accident averted on Sophie Bay Hill
SOPHIE BAY HILL, Tortola, VI- A major accident was narrowly averted when traffic was brought to a screeching halt at Sophie Hill at about 4:50 P.M. on March 1, 2013 when a truck (PM 5319) laden with sacks of ‘Nikiki’ bottles of water apparently suffered a flat of its right rear tyre and started descending the hill in the reverse.
