ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Senior Magistrate Tamia Richards had to brace herself, sometimes shading emotion, when she asked Michael Lloyd, a 57 year old man who had allegedly threatened to kill a man and eat him raw, what he had to say before she imposed sentence on him on November 27, 2013.
Duffs Bottom man accused of verbally abusing police officer
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Kendell Mills, 33, of Duffs Bottom was placed before the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, October 4, 2013 on charges of resisting arrest, failing to comply with an order given by the police and abusive language to a police officer while in the execution of his duty.

The resident of Major Bay was found guilty of common assault, being armed with an offensive weapon, resisting arrest and two counts of assault committed on police officers.
