New VI Governor to be sworn in Jan 29; Gov Rankin exits Jan 18, 2024
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Mr Daniel Pruce, the incoming Governor of the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) will be sworn in on Monday, January 29, 2024, the Office of the Governor has informed our news centre.
11 registered as British Citizens
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Eleven (11) individuals are now registered as British Citizens after being previously naturalised as British Overseas Territories Citizens.
Governor Rankin’s departure delayed until January 2024
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Word reaching our news cente from sources in Government House is that the Governor, John J. Rankin, CMG will no longer depart at the end of December 2023 as was previously scheduled, but instead will be leaving the territory around the middle of January 2024.
Governor’s Office provides $30K in grants to 3 youth empowerment projects
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- It was in September 2023, that Governor of the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) Mr John J. Rankin, CMG had said his office has a fund totalling $30,000 to finance youth empowerment projects in the VI and that it was welcoming applications from organisations, or partnerships across organisations for projects up to the value of $10,000.

Gov Rankin agrees Israel has ‘every right’ to defend itself

Deputy Governor David D. Archer Jr is Acting as Governor

Formal complaint lodged against Gov Rankin by UK Law Firm
