FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The COVID-19 related death of a 58-year-old woman was the second such announcement in one day by the US Virgin Islands Department of Health, which only an hour earlier, August 18, 2021, announced that a 62-year-old St John woman had died from the virus.
Delta variant may still be 'lurking' in VI- Hon Malone

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Vaccination against Covid-19 saw a sharp increase last week, US Virgin Islands Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr has told the Consortium, a sign that the Delta variant-induced surge in active infections and rising Covid-related deaths in the territory are pushing US Virgin Islanders to get vaccinated against the virus.
COVID-19 sample from VI tests positive for Delta variant
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After initial samples tested at the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) in July 2021 had shown no variants of concern, the Ministry of Health and Social Development has now confirmed that one COVID-19 sample has tested positive for the Delta variant.
