ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - With the Cabinet imposed 24/7 lockdown now in effect for the Virgin Islands (VI) starting 8:00pm yesterday, Friday, March 27, 2020, and running until April 2, 2020, as part of its Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) response, Governor Augustus J. U. Jaspert has urged all to remain at home and abide by the curfew.

Health Minister unveils ‘Essential Services List' for COVID-19 curfew
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Deputy Premier and Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone (AL) has unveiled the list of essential services persons that would be allowed to exit their homes during the upcoming 24-hour Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) curfew.
24-hr curfew: No visits to beaches, roadside garbage bins or extended dog walks
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- “Simply put, unless you are classified as an essential worker under the Curfew Act you will be required to remain at home from 8:00pm tonight until 6:00am tomorrow morning, and then from 8:00pm tomorrow, Friday evening, to stay at home, I repeat, stay at home, continuously until 6:00am on Thursday, 2nd of April.”
VI 'is highly capable of responding to crises' - Gov Jaspert
